A candle for Annie | A light always flickers in my heart Annie |
Whenever I`m on my travels I do like to look at as much as I can, exploring here there and everywhere. The Church we found was really something else,(theres more pics in my "must see tips"). I always light a candle for my little Annie,I`ve always done it,not that I`m the most religious man in the world its just seems the thing to do. If I cant spare a moment for my little girl, then what sort of man am I?? |
| | What Klagenfurts all about This is the Lindwurm fountain, built about 1593,which comemorates the origins of the city. The fountain and the statue of hercules was completed in 1636. The Rathaus ( Town Hall) is in the background, this also houses the tourist info office, again full of very helpful people. This is situated in Neuer Platz square. |

I adore Austria too! | Madchen Wed Aug 16, 2006 11:50 UTC Glad to see someone else enjoying my second home. The Dom was my Oma's (grandmother's) local church and I still take my children in to light a candle. Try visiting in the summer, it's totally different. | mariev Mon Feb 21, 2005 17:29 UTC Klagenfurt is on my list for the next Austria trip, nice to see it looking so lovely. And those sepia photos...great idea, the things look so 'out of time' |
