Great location and other Venice, Italy Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

We were supposed to be in the Best Western Hotel,but they had "maintenance " to do in our room and we were transferred to the Padada,which was across the alleyway.
No great problem there,it just didnt look as smart as the Best Western.
The desk staff were very friendly and helpful,pointing out where to go,help with luggage etc.
Breakfast was a bit sparce,Ham and Cheese and not so fresh bread,the waitresses were a bit rude,not to us but with some other guests.
We were able to chech out and leave our luggage there which was a great help,the last thing I wanted to do was carry a suitcase around Venice all day !!

Unique Qualities: The location of this hotel was perfect for sightseeing,which was the sole purpose of the visit.

As I said in my Panada tip,this would've been a lovely place to stay.
I booked it through www.expedia.co.uk and had read some great reviews about the breakfasts and rooms.
Perhaps next time ???!!!

Great,very helpful staff,really friendly.
Breakfast was bought up to the room,it consisted of Hot Chocolate,!!!!!,Orange juice,bread,croissants,and some fruit.It was fine,and set us up for the days exploring ahead !!
