I've had 3 work related trips there in the last 2 years,luckily I knew some friends who were out there,seeing them,and their families made life alot more tolerable out there.For that I will always be grateful.
This is on a company compound,note the high walls on the left,thats to keep us in,and others out!!!
The homebrew was very good,took some getting used to though,as I'm quite into quality control I had to try everything...Many a night was had here and bbqs lit,both Jamies and Keiths place provided an oasis of normallity in this "unreal" world.
These are the boys from the composite shop that were out there at various times in the last 3 years,a mixture of English,Welsh Irish and Pillipino,a right United Nations.
I think it looks like a scene from "Auf Wiedershen Pet" or should that be "Auf Wiedershen Abdul".
This was outside the hangar,it was so hst and dry,that took some getting used to,but we managed !!
From left to right,
Dazy Perris,Nigel Syms,Ed Bromley and yours truly,just waiting for the transport back to the hotel.....to see if the pools open !!!

Actually the guys guys on the check disc enjoy watching westerns.. it's like watching TV for them.
