This was in the main square with one of the 2 cathedrals in the background.
This was the view from our restaurant,the Squares full of places to sit,eat and relax,most of them with balconies which add to the whole experience.
You will be hassled by postcard sellers and other people selling their wares,but we never had a bad/rude experience,which can happen in many other places.
The tourist police seem to keep an eye out for any loiters,but they soon come back when the police turn away.
This was a few of us before we set off on our adventures,sat at the fountain,before we all trotted of,slowly,back to the hotel to get "horizontal" ( the guides way of telling us to take it easy !!!)
so we did,via The Cross Keys for a quick drinkie !!!
- Pros:Buzzing town,shoppers paradise
- Cons:Got to be firm with street sellers,not rude,just firm
- In a nutshell:Wish we had a couple of more days there
