Getting TO/AROUND: Very easy to use,costs about euro 1.50 per ride,whether its one stop or the whole line. Reading tips before I went, I was very wary of pickpockets and kept an eye on a few people, but found the whole experience ok. I f you leave your wallet or handbag open and openly flash your cash around,you're likely to be robbed,but that could happen anywhere in the world,not just paris.

Getting TO/AROUND: There are Air France buses that leave from the Arrivals terminal and go to the City center,but we got there just as many 100 people did,so it was a taxi for us. It was rush as well so that didn't help,the journey toook about an hour,and cost 40 euros,which seemed to be the norm for Paris..

Getting TO/AROUND: You cant miss them,they're everywhere on the main tourist routes between Arch de Triomphe and The Opera House. It costs 22 euros per adult,and 11 euros for chlidren,the tickets are valid for 2 days and you can get on/off as many times as you like. We found them helpful as the weather had its sunny spells and you can see more from being slightly higher.

Getting TO/AROUND: I booked these tickets about 6 months ago on the internet,they cost about £40 for each,which is good,it saves driving doan the motorway to Heathrow to get to Paris. Cardiff airport is a good easily accessible airport with good roads and facilities,shops and restaurants,mind you,it does get you in the mood for Paris.............Expensive!!!!

Getting TO/AROUND: If,after walking up to Sacre Couer,you feel in need of some help,there is a funicular railway there to whisk you to the top, Only 2 euros to ride,and it did help..... At the top just wander round and be entertained by the street artists that are scattered around the beautiful Cathedral.
