We went to Paris a couple of days before Bastille Day ( July 14th),the first thing we noticed were the amount of French flags everywhere,I dont know if they`re put up just for the celebrations or are left up all the time,I think a countries flag hanging from lamposts,flag poles buildings look fantastic.nothing wrong with being proud of your flag and country.
Also the security seemed quite high,There were a few armed sopldiers wandering around here and various other busy areas.
This is a very impressive structure during the day,but when its lit up at night,the whole place takes on a new feeling.
Took this picture from the cruise boat on the Seine,I was pleased it came out as well as it has.
Its a wonderful building.
Sam, my 6 year old, struggled to choose between the Eiffel tower and Mickey Mouse for a day trip on a holiday to France in May,Mickey won....just !!!

I`d like to see a baggage handler lose this case !!!!!
