Guess !!!

We went to Paris a couple of days before Bastille Day ( July 14th),the first thing we noticed were the amount of French flags everywhere,I dont know if they`re put up just for the celebrations or are left up all the time,I think a countries flag hanging from lamposts,flag poles buildings look fantastic.nothing wrong with being proud of your flag and country.
Also the security seemed quite high,There were a few armed sopldiers wandering around here and various other busy areas.
This is a very impressive structure during the day,but when its lit up at night,the whole place takes on a new feeling.
Took this picture from the cruise boat on the Seine,I was pleased it came out as well as it has.
Its a wonderful building.
Sam, my 6 year old, struggled to choose between the Eiffel tower and Mickey Mouse for a day trip on a holiday to France in May,Mickey won....just !!!

The Arc de Triomphe

I took this photo and swapped it for a black and white version on this page,my travelogues are in Sepia and black and white,I think your eye really looks at the picture when its like this intead of looking at all the colours.

Great luggage

I`d like to see a baggage handler lose this case !!!!!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Much better than 1985,no rain
Cons:Expensive ,but well worth it.

We were at Rue de Colbert, 1 minute from Notre Dam, expensvie hotel...to get to the loo, you had to stand on the seat before you could close the door....
