What a lovely place this is. After a long hard week in Malaysia, little sleep lots of drinking and cultural visits,I decided to treat myself and go to Thailand,as Its a place I've always wanted to go. I had plans to lie on a beach and read a book or two,but the weather wasn't the best I decide to see some of the place. There are some "tourist traps" I don't mind falling into,if I've got limited time I'll take an organised trip, that way I'm making the most of my short time there. This was taken on the floating muslim village in The Ao-Phang Nga National Park in the Andaman Sea,its a huge national park in which there are many islands and rock formations, including that rock from that James Bond film.(The man with the golden gun as I'm sure you knew !!) It was so peaceful there, very tranquil and very cheap for food and gifts, embarassingly so.£2 for a 4 course meal. |
| | What a sales pitch This gorgeous little girl insisted on me buying a garland from her, when I tried to talk to her all she said (very quickly) was 50 baht50baht50baht50baht etc etc etc.I was laughing like a drain,it was hilairious, obviously I bought them well they were only 50baht !!!!! |
