This waterside hotel has a Brasserie with panoramic views of the English Channel, and the sports and leisure facilities of the Henley Health Club make it a great place to spoil yourself for a weekend break or a longer stay. The hotel is part of the Best Western group and is probably the best hotel in Dover. I have not stayed here myself but know people who have worked here. All say it is good.
Unique Qualities: Have dinner overlooking the channel. Or a drink on the terrace on the front. There is also a hairdressers and a very good restaurant.

I haven't stayed here but had a look in a couple of the rooms so I could write this for VT! The two rooms that I saw were of a good standard. They were very clean but a little on the small side. The bathrooms were very clean and looked newly done.
There about 6 rooms in the establishment and the hotel is in the centre of the town.

This wonderful country house hotel is about 2 miles form Dover and is set in beautiful grounds which have a Boules pitch, tennis courts and a croquet lawn. Some of the rooms are in the actual house but others are in the old stables. There is an indoor swimming pool and health and beauty treatments are available at extra cost.
This place is not cheap BUT is worth it for that special weekend. the restaurant is one of the best I have eaten in.
Unique Qualities: One of the things that appealed to me was the peace and quiet and if you have a room in one of the old stables the views look out over the fields and countryide.
