Just under the Channel for me! How could you ever tire of visiting this fantastic European city? I for one love visiitng and I am lucky enough to live only two hours away by Eurostar. Having done all the usual tourist attractions like the Notre Dame, Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre, Tour Eiffel I have now decided to start exploring further afield and will try and see some more off the beaten track type places. My last visit took me to the Pere Lachaise cemetery which was really interesing. On our last visit we met up with Toyin, a real gentleman. Next time I come here I will certainly give him a call. |
| | Foot or Boat? Walk along the Seine which runs through Paris, or take a boat, either way the views are enchanting. |
A little culture I always like to include a museum or two in my travels. Paris has many to choose from. The Louvre being the most famous. It houses many important and famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa. | | |

jo104 Wed Jul 18, 2007 18:16 UTC I'm always wondering if I should give Paris another shot | Nemorino Mon Sep 11, 2006 22:29 UTC How great that Paris is only two hours from Dover by EuroStar! The EuroCity train from Frankfurt to Paris takes over six hours, but from December 2007 they say it will only take 3 hours 50 minutes on the new TGV Est. | Toyin Tue Jun 13, 2006 19:17 UTC Natalie, it was nice meeting you and Chris in Paris. Now waiting for your Paris page. Regards. |
