Insadong: Insadong
  • Tip Rating:
  • Insadong is a really cool little street with ton's of little shops. Mostly selling traditional korean stuff, there is also alot of little art galleries and a buddist temple thats pretty intresting. It is a lot like Asakasa in Tokyo.

    Yook-Sam (63) Building: 63 Building
  • Tip Rating:
  • It's the biggest building in seoul and it has a really good view. it cost 6,000 Won alittle bit pricey i thought, but becuase i'm a tourist I had to go see it. The observation deck is on the 60th floor... They say 63 but there is only 60 because 3 of the floors are underground so they don't count. There was also aquarium and a imax theater, but i never had time to visit them. Also after you leave the observation deck they push you into the little shops and a food court.

    Itaewon: Itaewon
  • Tip Rating:
  • I liked Itaewon. I wanted to go there at first just becuase every korean i met told me ohhh its so dangrous don't go there. So i had to go and to me it's didn't seem bad at all. It's just a big tourist area but it had alot of good things. frist of all everyone there can speak english, you can buy alot of rip off products and backdoor products. also it's the only place in korea where you can see every diffrent race all at once. There are also alot of clubs and bars and dicos, it is one of the best night areas in seoul. But hey, thats just what i think check it out for your self

    Namdaemun (Great South Gate): Namdaemun
  • Tip Rating:
  • Namdeamun is one of those markets you always hear about where you can buy anything, or almost anything. I frist started walking around Namdeamun and thought alright ya this is ok. Alittle while later I found stairs that went down in to the underground and I got lost in there looking at everything for about one hour there is just so much to see. I think they had the heat turned way up in there becuase it was so very hot in there I was sweating like mad. After i left the under ground area ( The underground really impressed me ) I saw the south gate (the gate you see on all the post cards ) and I was amazed and i had to put it in my must see activitys.

    Gyeongbokgung (Palace): Gyeongbokgung Palace
  • Tip Rating:
  • Gyeongbokgung Palace is a massive palace right in the heart of seoul. Really worth seeing. Tickets are a good price to there only 500Won for youth and 1000Won for adults. With that you also get to go into the korean Folk Museum it's a very good meseum. They have english guided tours in palace and the museum. This spot is a #1 if you want to learn about korean history.

    Lotte World: Lotte world
  • Tip Rating:
  • Seoul Lotte World
  • HEY THATS ME AT LOTTE WORLD
  • by JDwernychuk
  • Send Photo to a Friend
  • Lotte world is a big giant theme park. I had a good time there. It would be a great place for someone who has kids ( and lots of money to spend ) But i has a number or rides that were pretty good. There is also a ice skating ring, but it looks alittle hard to skate with about a thousand people on the ice. Another cool place to vist in korea.
