I have been in Olomouc cause of some friend of mine who had been there for winter-holydays. Probably many of you will know just Praga or Brno in Czech Republic but this town has a nice atmosphere and is less chaotic and touristic then other places in Czech. The historical city is nice; you can have a walk in the city (no public transport is necessary to see all!) and see the beauty of old buildings and churchs. In the main square there is a clock similar at Praga 's one with some little statues coming out at a particular time.

Pros and Cons

Pros:calm place
Cons:beer....is too much good and you could drink a lot!
In a nutshell:see Olomouc just for one day and enjoy it!!

This town is what I like: old-world, charming, and not overrun with tourists yet. Nice tips provided and it would be good to see some more. Regards,Cheryl
