That is what the Carib meant by Carriacou, and that is what you get here- beautiful beaches, stunning reefs, colorful waters, and succulant seafood. Don't look for a Walmart or McDonald's here, nor a super resort teaming with sunburned tourists. You get sun, sand, surf and great food, deserted beaches, and lots of friendly people.

Hi: I've visited Carriacou many times and stayed at many different locations. My observation is, if you don't stay near the beach mosquitoes are almost never a problem.
