One of the world’ most famous site is definitely Macchu Picchu
No word could be appropriate to express what is the real sensation that you will be about to feel coming to this wonder.
Every expetation you would do about the lost city won’t be enought, indeed, as soon as you get your feet in the site, you will be stoned.
The lost city of the Inca is the MUST of Peru or the whole South-West America. It is a place full of history, full of mistery and, if you are a bit interested on the history and on the historical period of “los conquistadores”, it gives you an overview on the period.
Simply walking trough the site is a very impressing activity.
I would definitely suggest to hire a guide as it would be a very bad thing to walk in this absolutely beautifull place without getting to know the deepest meaning of each monument.

The Lost city of the incas seems very small, but it is definitely not like this. It is a very huge ruin-city, altoug the dimension you are about to visit is simply a small piece of the leggendary city. You will not be able to feel the real dimension once you are walking trough it, but from the top of Huayna Pichu, things looks definitely different...and bigger...
