Taking a night bus from Arequipa, when you get to Puno is almoust veryyyyy early in the morning and at the first sight, Puno looks more like a ruin then a city. Despite that, going trought the city, you'll learn to love it, as I did. For my point of view, Puno is one of the most "real peruvian city", with his markets, his people and , for sure, his beautifull LAKE TITICACA. You should anyway take care of the altitude, that is about 4.000 mt...To avoid altitude sickness..please check pic nr 2!!! |
| well....nothing to say about it... |
| | to avoid altitude sickness Puno is really hight and bloody cold too! COming from Arequipa you'll definitely feel the difference...to feel immediately better, maybe would be great having a tea...the real mate de coca... |
| | weather conditions.... During the day Puno and the lake are really hot...you get burned! take care!! but in the later afternoon it gets cold.... |
