"Cambodia - So close yet so far" Cambodia by beebah

Considering from how bad the roads are when you travel overland from Thailand. But it's worth it. To be honest I thought it would be worse than that. But it turned out to be.."Hey cool!"

We didn't enter from Aranyaprathey-PoiPet nor Koh Kong - SihanoukVille..But Bann Pakkhard (Chantaburi province) - Pailin (Cambodia side) which is recently opened to visitors. (and of course Thai day-trippers, gamblers too)

Battambang, Cambodia

From Pailin we headed to Battambang. This town is really nice. I highly recommend it. It's not so busy...it's small town..relaxing people..some nice street scenes..boat to SiemReap departs at 7 AM daily from this town

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Loads of them. I would be..best guidebook that very handy and free is "SiemReap Angkor Visitors Guide" or "Angkor Guide" can get them for free at your guesthouse, hotel. But the best way is to get decent book which contains detailed info for each temple. Knowing story behind it is always nicer :-)
