My husband Michael, my son Daniel and I, went to the British Grand prix in Cardiff last June. We had a wonderful time and it also happen to be the queens birthday on the same day as the grandprix. So in Cardiff castle there were celebrations, with soldiers marching and a 21 gun salute. The weather was beautiful, hot and sunny. |

| | Cardiff was really busy that weekend. There were lots of visitors from abroad who had come to see the Grandprix, and they had the added bonus of the celebration of the queens birthday. |
| | Millenium Stadium This is the Millenium Stadium where the event was held. It is a wondeful all weather stadium and the roof can be moved back if the weather is fine. |
