It is a fun place to make friends to hang out with. the hostal organizes several tours to different places during the day and it has a night tours also.
It has an excellent staff, specially the kitchen staff is very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast is included in the price of the room. It is served from 6am-10am
Basically I went dancing every night of the 5 nights I was there and they even allow me to have my salsa workshop at their premisses.
Unique Qualities: This is my first time in a Hostal with CO-ED rooms. I guess this is common in Brazil. I was surprized first but it was really fun. You will not have time to sleep anyway.
The hostal is very popular with people from all over the world that like to have a nightlife. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax this is not the place. this is a place to make friends , do activities in groups and to enjoy the Carioca's nightlife.
Make sure you reserve in advance, it has a waiting list !!!
