Blessed are the travellers of the tube , for they deserve the kingdom of heaven ,
Blessed are they that stand , for they shall be comforted ( eventually ),
Blessed are the meek ; for they shall entitle a seat ( complete with chewing gums )
Blessed are the delayed; for they shall obtain mercy ( one day )
Blessed are the claustrophobics; for they shall see God down there ( standing there too )
Blessed are the tickets conductors ; for they shall be called the sons of God ( and a lot else beside )
Blessed are the men who shove or push you , an attempt in all manner of falsehood to get a place on the escalator
Rejoice or be exceedingly glad ( or mad ) for greta is your reward in heaven - that's if you get there
unfortunately , as you have just heard , th next train terminates at purgatory
( with apologies to Matthews 5, platforms 3-12 )

Westminster Abbey

This place is simply amazing ...no wonder its called the House of God and House of Kings ...soak yourself in a thousand years of history ...from c 960 when the Benedictine monk settled at Westminster to coronation of William the Conqueror on 1066 and until the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on 1953 and Diana's funeral in 1997.
Be prepared to be mesmerised by breahtaking sculptures and interior, elaborate marble tombs ...
Earth has not anything to show more fair ,
Dull would he be of soul who could pass by,
A sight so touching in its majesty ,
The city now doth like a garment wear,
The beauty of the morning , silent ;bare
Ships, towers,domes,theatres and temple lie,
Open unto fileds and to the sky,
All bright and glittering in the smokeless air,
Never did the sun more beautifully steep,
In his first splendour valley , rock and hill,
Ne'er saw I , never felt ,a calm so deep,
The river glideth at its own sweet will,
Dear God ! the very houses seems asleep,
And all that mighty heart is lying still ...
William Wordsworth - composed upon Westminster Bridge on 3 September 1802
( Point for ponder - After you were mesmerised by the massive and impressive collections particularly from Egypt, you will be left to wonder whats left in Egypt ....:- )
- Pros:Overwhelming with history , traditions and colours
- Cons:Too compact

There is no doubt that you should be a fashion designer instead of counting other people's money ;-) Your designs are just fantastic. Can't believe you use Excel to draw those beautiful designs.
Very interesting observation page on London, Kenny I must read more about your trip.
Very interesting, indeed. :-) Great tips, Keny. London is amazing, and you presented her well. Next time, you really should give the Eye a chance to thrill you. ;-) ~Elaine~
