"My beautiful Florence ....always !" Florence by kenyneo

Some people call her magical city ...
Some even crowned her eternity ...
But how shall I tell her beauty...
Words cant describe she ...
No phrase can tell of my insanity ...
How she torture me ...
With her charm and endless beauty ...
Oh my dear Firenze ...
tell me how I can win thee...
.
Leornado Da Vinci
No other personality was so intimidating, no other career so difficult to encompass, so biographers often resort to the assumption that he embodied some superhuman quality: "il divino".
there is something supernatural in the accumulation in one individual of so much beauty, grace, and might.
but lets just say his sexuality remains as mysterious as his famous painting of Mona Lisa ....what do you think ?

Michelangelo's passion for Cavalieri resounds-
If I must be defeated to be blessed,
Don't marvel that one, naked and alone,
should prove a prisoner of an armored knightThe love I speak of aspires to the heights;
woman is too dissimilar, and it ill becomes
a wise and manly heart to burn for her.

- Pros:Looking for Renaisance ? Yes its here !

Excellent page on Florence. Truly a city of arts. Bring back fond memories. SL
Keny, I'm hoping to return to Florence. I need more than a daytrip! Your photos are really great. Yes, I saw those handbag men as I call them.
hehe.. I saw those new yorkers collecting their dog's poo poo along the street.. but don't think any one will collect the horse poo poo... just too much... : )
Great tips and pics of Florence.. nice poetry too..
I suspect you are also a foodie. Or you just remembered my request to take lots of food pics back to VT. Thanks for sharing so many yummy tips. I am just green with envy here.
Wonderful page here Keny...one to be proud of! Your opening piccie of Firenze is spectacular! Ali xx
superb poetry. Never seen this on VT before! That "special" past in the osteria was for sure Gnocchi :-) which is one of my favourites.
Hmm... great tips. "The other side of Florence" looks nice. And yes, one can get to the Uffizi near closing time as it is free & no queue. Awesome page! More pictures of Florence no?
