Xining was the national defense industry center(Nuclear industry base) set by the central goverment before. Now, with the establishment of QinZang railway, it will bring lots of new money and fresh economic increase for this city.

There are not much to be seen in the city as Han Chinese dominates its governing since the old time. But Qinhai Lake and TaiEr Temple are two must-see scenes around Xining.
