MANCHESTER....THE CITY OF JOYS

by WAHEEDASLAM - last update: Mar 20, 2004

The uncrowned capital of the north.and the world`s first industrial city,Manchester has reinveted itself as one of the most exciting cities in Britian. To many, the city is best known for its successful football team and the top class nightlife that earned it the moniker `Madchester` but manchester is also where you`ll find a wealth of fascinating museums, rich and varied dining and some of the best shopping outside of London. The city had also hosted commonwealth games, which were a resounding success and a fitting tribute to a city in rebirth.
