Going through some changes...

by polardabar - last update: Oct 24, 2005

I've lived here my whole life and [as every city] it has its pros & cons, but it all depends, I guess... Sometimes you're simply fed up with the traffic & the ppl., but sometimes [although rarely, hehe...] you just sit in one of its numerous parks & enjoy your day...
After roaming this city's streets for over 20 years now & I'm just not sure what to say about it... It's not an unexhausted well of interesting things to do, but then again it's not a four-square-meter military base somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes it amazes me with what it's become & sometime it's just as boring as every other place in this galaxy. I just know I'm sick & tired of taking the same tram with the same people to the same square & the same streets every day!

There are moments [that happen pretty often, as the matter of fact] when I just feel this itching in my feet & I just [need to] take off. But then I start thinking about the fact that I'm not gonna be able to do that for the rest of my life. I was just checking Johnny's pages on NYC & wondered how it would be to live there... I have plans to move there when I finish school, 'coz I have a job waiting for me there, but I keep wondering what it would feel like when I actually got there. I've been dreaming about this city, it's streets & people, its skyline & humidity, but what if it all changes?

I've been wanting to be able to call this city home - what if I can't?!
