well, what to say about london?! i've been there twice & i can't imagine not wanting to go there again & again & again - ever! it's a city so colorful, so impressive & so loving that i just can't express it [hearing myself saying can't with a british accent]. the first time i was there was on my way to sweden & back from norway & although it was just for a couple of days, this city made me wanna go back - as soon as i could.
when i was in india, i had the chance to meet some great mates who kept inviting me to come to london for so long that it became impolite to make excuses again. so i hit the keyboard, bought the ticket & the rest is kind of a blur...

if you're coming to london for the first time, you're gonna have to pick out places to go, things to see, people to meet, life to live. the second time also, and probably the fourth as well...
the great thing was that my mates took me around the city, coz i'd be roaming it like like madman [read: a typical tourist] & see thousands of bits of london. this way i saw all of it, at least the bits i wanted to see this time anyway.
from south bank to the gherkin, from st. paul's to kings cross, from soho to kensington, from covent garden to victoria - wherever you go, you'll find something that you'll like, whether it's beer, music, sun, birds, geese, boats, geezers, robbers, clouds,
in these tips i'll try to give a general overview with a stress on the stuff i liked, i like & i will like. this is more like a diary & a letter to my friends.
you'll have to find your place yourself anyway...

lol those tips are so true. it took me a while to realise everyone stands on the right on the tube, and lets people rush past their left. because here in oz, i stand on left!
