Uppsala is a city located 70 km north of Stockholm. It is the fourth largest city in Sweden & one of the oldest cities.
It has the oldest university in Sweden founded 1477!

Take a stroll around the city, grab a beer, enter the cathedral & the Carolina Rediviva museum,
go to Stockholm, come back from Stockholm... ;)

Pros and Cons

Pros:Small & cozy.
Cons:Empty during the summer < no students.
In a nutshell:OK, definitely a must see!

It's a pity that I didn't read your info before travel to Ooopsala. I missed Vik Slott. But the positive point is that I have reason to go there once again. Thanx for descriptions and pictures :)

I´m impressed of your sites about my country, and especially my hometown. I have lived almost all my life in Gamla Uppsala...or as vi say "Gamlis"....by the way, i love Croatia!!!!!!
