    • I don't like to tag, but if there were some special places in Croatia that I'd recommend, here they are:
    - Zagreb - as the capital a must-see :)
    - inner Istria - picturesque villages & wine
    - coastal Istria - great beautiful cities
    - Dubrovnik, Zadar, Split - historically rich & unique cities
    - Rab - a city on the island of Rab - gorgeous!
    - Zagorje - castles & museums
    - Pag - a summer party island
    - Plitvice lakes - 1 of Croatia's 8 national parks
    - Velebit, Paklenica, Krka - mountain parts & national parks
    - the rest of Croatia. :)
    There are, of course, many other places (Senj, Nin, Brac, Osijek & many many more), but...

    • As I said, there are numerous National Parks in Croatia - eight to be precise. Four in the mountain region:
    - Risnjak
    - Sjeverni Velebit
    - Plitvicka Jezera
    - Paklenica
    and four along the coast:
    - Brijuni
    - Krka
    - Telascica
    - Mljet.

    I still haven't visited all of them, but from those I've seen, I can only imagine what the rest of them have to offer... I think it's really worth spending a day of your vacation to enjoy some nature, take hikes or a boat ride - use the opportunity! Here's a map of all of them, so check out which is closest to your base... ;)

    • The MMF is always an experience! I haven't been to it yet, but everyone says it's quite a special thing. People gather from all over the country & Europe to watch some good films & have some fun with their frineds. I'll let you know if I get there any time soon. ;) Check my Events Travelogue for some more details.
