| | Croatia is known for its mineral hot springs & thermal spas, rustic architecture, grasslands, old oak forest, historical cities, castles aso. It has an unbelievably rich cultural heritage, for which the main reason is the history. Croatia has been exposed to numerous cultural influences [Greek, Roman, Venetian, Hungarian, Osman etc.] which made it keep the best of each. There are even cities [like Split, Omiš & Nin] that have wholly been proclaimed museums! Split is famous for its Diocletian palace, a part of the city center & now actually the city center. ;) But not only Split has its historical core - Zadar, Dubrovnik, Motovun, Pula & many more are famous for surrounding walls, arenas, churches & more...
