Be a traveler, not a tourist

Ah...travelling alone. One arm...
I love to travel, and make sure I do so as often as possible. It's a dazzling and fun way to educate ones self - even if only a daytrip to some nearby town or city. Just do it. And immerse yourself. Endeavour to experience each new destination as the locals do. Only then can you understand the way a particular city or attraction works. Functional.
born here..../\

A veiled history of ME.

Yes, I will offer a veiled history of my remarkable life - this is the web, after all. I must be careful. God forbid members of my high school Spanish Club track me down and wanna go for coffee...

So, I was born in Metro Boston.

The Homeland

At the tender age of four, I was walking, reading, writing, skiing, factoring algorithms, and according to one questionable physician, undergoing early puberty. Mum and Dad moved me, my genius, and my jealous siblings to the quaint state of New Hampshire, where I lived until I attained voting age.
On The Waterfront.

The Escape!

As I grew into an admirable young man, I quickly realized Dad was an absolute nutjob. Therefore, as soon as I'd done my duty in public school, I escaped. Back to Boston, where I was partially schooled and foraged a living with my vast knowledge of cash registers and rolling inventory.

My trip to the Jungle...

New York scared the bejesus out of me. It was dirty, frightening, depraved, dangerous and followed no rule of law. I was entranced, naturally, and moved to The Big Apple in 1994(no math, please, I'm ageless).

These were the best days of my life. After three years in Manhattan, I moved to the better borough of Brooklyn whereupon I made the mistake of sleeping with my next door neighbor.
Crooklyn, Baby!
The Cat. Also known as "Dirty B*tch"

More Poor judgement.

I moved into an apartment above a liqour store and I adopted a cat.

Go West, Young Man!

Unfortunately, I downed too much gin in the East Village and decided to move to Los Angeles. Like The Cat, this has proven itself to be an unwise decision.

The Office

Not All is Lost!

Life in Los Angeles has been difficult. I won't lie. Where are the bakeries, yo?! The bagels?!! The jobs? Ah, yes...the "jobs"...

However, it's sunshine everyday and I now have a great job working in the wine industry. The cat is medicated, the apartment is rent controlled, and I have a running prescription for vicodin. Life is rosier by the minute!

UPDATE!

The traffic and botox wore me down. Life is short and I packed my bags. In May, 2009, I took advantage of my E.U. citizenship and moved to Barcelona. Where I know NOBODY. So, if you wanna grab a drink in Barca, drop me a line! And, if you wanna give me a job, well, I´ll take that, too.
