"Banff National Park." Banff National Park by Delwin

After 2 days in the Jasper region we drove down to Banff to stay in the Banff Rocky mountain Resort. Very nice. Right on the edge of Banff with a free shuttle bus to the town if you wanted to drink. We used this as a base to explore for the week.
There were waterfalls, mountains, little towns. Loads to keep you occupied.

Truffle Pig Cafe

This was a quaint little cafe with a wicked name, in a tiny town called Field. What a shock when the food arrived. The chef had aspirations way above this little cafe. The week was spent shooting around Emerald lake, Lake Louise, Yoho, anything that looked interesting in the various guide books that we had bought.

I do like spectacular scenery much more than towns and cities. This has made it difficult to chose photos to put into this page. We took over 1200 in the 3 weeks that we were there. All digital thankfully or I would still be saving to have them developed. If you are looking for a list of things to see you can get this from any guide book. I would just recommend getting a car and driving around.
