Do people really know what's out in the darkness? - Blackpool

Do people really know what's out in the darkness?

The Exhibition Of The Universe: The truth is out there, somewhere

The goal of this museum is to consider & educate people of all ages (showing them that their is more to life than is seen by the naked eye. This is gained with the use of full sized replicas of ET's (as seen during many close encounters).

It also incorporates many of the Extra-Terrestrials seen on our science fiction programmers and poses the question:

Science-Fiction or Science Fact???

Dress Code: Who built the wonderful earliest monuments? Do they hold secrets concerning the survival of mankind? Why was this information so very important that it had to be entombed in structures so sophisticated that mankind today cannot copy them?

The exhibition includes:

• Aliens, Positive & Negative
• UFO's, Flying Saucers
• primeval Monuments
• The Universe & Crop Circles (lots in Wiltshire)
• City on Mars
• Alien abductions & Implants
• Roswell, Area 51, Autopsy
• Crystal Skulls
• Ley Lines (again lots in Wiltshire)
• & loads more features.

Admission Prices:

Adults £4.50 Children £3.00 (free gift included with children’s ticket) Family Ticket £13.50 - discounts available for groups who book in advance.

Well worth a visit.

Most Haunted Live, Blackpool, 12/12/04 - Blackpool
haunted buildings: Most Haunted Live, Blackpool, 12/12/04

Here's something I heard about the paranormal in Blackpool.

Apparently there’s severable entities in the ball room, they are:

A young man; a young woman sobbing, & two children.

A man named Henry Riley, late 20's early 30's; 5' 7" to 5'8"; stocky, strong build who was 'assistant to the janitor' from 1906 to 1911.

A male &a female spirit in the ballroom. The man is in a top hat &cloak; well-heeled; wearing 'an order given by the Queen' - a gold &scarlet medal. Originally from Yorkshire, this man is named Stanley, &was shot over a a gambling incident.

Animals - horses, elephants, polar bears have picked up by mediums, Dr Cocker's Aquarium & Menagerie stood on the site, & the Tower is built round it.

Opera House

Spirit of an RAF gentlemen called Sam. Sam a Flight Lieutenant Cross, who had trained in the Wireless Operators’ School at the Tower during WW2.

The spirit of William Holland, general manager of the Opera House from 1887 to 1895 has been contacted.

Initials W & S were picked up, William Stocker’. Yvette asks "Where did you die?"
"In my bed of course!" & calles her "Pretty petal".Yvette asks
"Do you realize that you’re dead?" the spirit says
"I am not dead you silly girl. Now *** OFF. You’re in my father’s house."

Dr William Henry Cocker was the son of Dr John Cocker, & grandson of Henry Banks, who built the original Bank Hey House around 1800. When the Winter Gardens were built on the Bank Hey estate, William Cocker insisted that they be built around Bank Hey House, & it remains in the amusement arcade off Floral Hall, not in the Opera House. The original Opera House was built in 1889, &demolished in 1938. The new Opera House opened in 1939.

Blackpool had Britain’s first electric street tram - Blackpool

Windy Ally: Blackpool Golden Mile

Walking along the promenade can be very windy. Along the front are the illuminations & small rocks which have lights glowing in them, there’s also a silver ball which rotates all day long & had coloured lights shining on it. The wind has been known to be very strong that I could hardly stand up in it!

Blackpool is slowly turning into a Las Vegas; they even have discos in ships freight boxes! The shops are usually open late into the night, & people wander up & down selling key rings which flash.

Dress Code: Dress up warm for the evenings, it can get pretty windy.

Address: Blackpool seafront
