"Bucaramanga, City of Parks" Bucaramanga by FrankLeal

Bucaramanga Travel Guide: 37 reviews and 90 photos

Well Bucaramanga is just a city you should visit and enjoy the beautiful colonial towns and natural places so close to it. You should come and visit Girón, Sangil, Barichara, Zapatoca. Enjoy practicing x-treme sports in Santander state.

Parque del Agua

This is one of the newest parks in Bucaramanga and the one I like the most. It is located on the North-East of the city, next to the Quebrada Seca Avenue, the street where people coming from Cúcuta and San Antonio (Venezula) arrive. The fountains are marvelous and there are fishes swimming on them. During Christmas time it is illuminated on a very nice way.

Chicamocha canyon

This is the Chicamocha river, one of the main rivers in Santander. This picture was taken on the way to Sangil. You can see the river at both sides of the river. There is projected a touristic cable car to have a better view of this place.

Bucaramanga sounds to be worth a stop when coming from Venezuela.
