Where did I get these beads? :-) - New Orleans

It's bad. I can't remember a lot of what I have done in New Orleans--a lot of the drinking places are stands and you just walk from one to the other, up and down the Vieux Carre, and I can't recall which was which, but I'll try to pull it all together and make a respectable page.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great times, good drinks, fun people
Cons:it's smells quite a bit like urine, hot and humid
In a nutshell:Everyone should experience N.O.L.A

As we were walking around Bourbon Street, we came upon this place. I have passed by it many times, thinking "just... more travel advice

When the drunk get drunker, their only salvation is coffee with chickory and some wonderful beignets at 3-4am.... more travel advice

You're right on about Cafe Du Monde! It is my FAVORITE late night, "I'm drunk, gotta eat something bad for me" stop in the French Quarter.
