Berry College

Mount Berry, Georgia is the home of my alma mater, Berry College. I originally chose Berry because of its beautiful campus - the largest in the U.S. (at the time, at least). Berry has its own post office, Mount Berry, adjacent to Rome, Georgia. If you're ever in Northeast Georgia, it's worth a trip to take a tour of the college, founded by Martha Berry in 1902, and also to visit the nearby Oak Hill and Martha Berry Museum. If you're not going to be in the area, you can see Berry on film. Just rent "Dutch", featuring Thomas Berry Hall, Disney's "Perfect Harmony" which was shot on location all over campus as well as in nearby Rome, or "The Class of '69", set at West Point (i.e. the Ford Buildings) at the time of the Civil War.

Hi Kendra, Berry College should be proud of the great treatment you have given them here. I didn't attend Berry, but have been given a tour by my brother, Bruce, who is a dean there.
