The Hudson Valley Renegades are the local feeder team for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Games are held during the summer at Dutchess Stadium, near Fishkill, NY, off Interstate 84. Minor league games may not have the big names you've heard, but you can see up-and-coming players up close and personal, and have a lot of fun participating in contests between innings. For example, over the course of one game, a roster of contestants from the audience was chosen to play "Survivor," and participated in various challenges throughout the game. At the end, the audience screamed and cheered for their favorite contestant. Little kids also get more into the game, as there are contests and prizes especially for them.
