Avon on the whole, is covered in green beauty, & sweet little towns & villages.

Horton is lovely.
It's also a great place for taking a 'Romantic walk, A hike over the fields or a stroll after lunch, but beware of the 'boy racers' driving too fast on the country lanes.

Chipping Sodbury, is an old fashioned spot, with lots of Listed Buildings.
Some of these buildings are supposed to be 'Haunted'.
Horse Street had 3 buildings that I know of, that have an unwelcome guest.
The body art shop & the shop next to it, have toilets in the 'outhouse' at the back of the shops.
When customers have asked to use the toilet, they have complained of a old Man or Woman standing infront of the 'out house's!'
The Indian's across the road, (Lovely food!) claim to have a ghost thats walks around at night.

There is also lots of fine places to eat, drink & relax during the day.
On the night time, Chipping Sodbury is hectic with it's youth - mostly at the weekends.

Iron Acton really is lovely.
It is a sleepy little village, near Yate.
Its a wonder to see just a few pubs & a hairdressers. (Also a few Tractors!)

Please beware though, just because the towns may look angelic, it does not mean the population is also.
Beware of your drink, Drug Rape is not just a growing problem in Bristol & Bath.
If you are or suspect you have been Drug Raped in Chipping Sodbury or Yate, go to Bristol Centre or Bath Police Station.
Everybody knows everybody else in that area. There is a good chance that the Police Officer/s you go to, will be a close friend of the Drug Rapists family - or worse still, related.
Get out of there as soon as you can and go to Bristol Centre or Bath.

• Pros:Yate has all the shops you need for food, clothes etc
• Cons:Stuck in the middle of Bristol & Bath. Taxis not cheap.
• In a nutshell:Very Clicky - but the girls are pretty!
