Restaurant Name: Newbury Street restaurants
Newbury Street is a street that runs for several blocks in the Back Bay neighborhood and is packed with boutiques and small restaurants with outdoor seating areas. This is the place for people-watching and to be seen with the chic and trendy. I'm not going to suggest one restaurant in particular. I'm just going to recommend that you take a stroll along this street and pick one that suits your fancy. There are many choices of restaurants - Italian, Mexican, Indian, Irish, American, Japanese, etc. etc. For the most part, these restaurants are much less expensive than the popular restaurants listed in those Boston guidebooks.
Favorite Dish: I will, however, say that after dinner, or on a hot afternoon, stop by JP Licks for a homemade ice cream. JP Licks has the best ice cream in Back Bay.

Mikebb Sat Aug 4, 2007 09:22 UTC Hi Karen, Enjoyed your Boston page, we had 2 nights recently and I think it is my favourite USA city, not that I have seen many. | Nemorino Mon Jul 23, 2007 16:27 UTC Hi Karen, glad you enjoyed your visit to Boston and even found a good running route right away. I have relatives nearby, so I hope to visit Boston again sometime. | deecat Mon Dec 11, 2006 12:00 UTC Excellent, Karen. Ah, traveling with teens! Hey, Chicago did the cows years ago! What a hotel, what a staff! Love your easy-going, humorous style. | Bwana_Brown Tue Oct 31, 2006 00:14 UTC I've had a lot of meetings in Boston and I love this city! It so happens I am also a Red Sox fan, since it is still the closest pro ball team to my home. Great tip on the Lenox, my wife & I had a fantastic stay there a few years ago! |
