Party Time in Barcelona

by karenincalifornia - last update: Jul 24, 2007

So much to see- so little time

L'Arc de Triomphe, Barcelona
Barcelona has an unlimited number of restaurants, activities and museums. This is such a beautiful city with amazing architecture. The weather is ideal, the food and wines are fabulous, and the people are so polite and helpful. I don't think Barcelona ever sleeps. There is too much to do and see. If I could have done it, I would have stayed up all night, for the sheer pleasure of experiencing as much of Barcelona during my short stay as possible.

Pros:"Great food, lots of restaurants, balmy weather (even in July), unusual architecture, talented street musicians, excellent flamenco"
Cons:"None"
In A Nutshell:"It isn't by chance that Picasso painted so much in Barcelona"

Very good page about Barcelona, the town where I was born. Thanks Karen. By the previous comment (xinoxano, a member of a political separatist party), please, do not get confused. We, Barcelona people, love our country Spain and also love the flamenco.

Flamenco is typical of Andalusia in Sothern Spain and thus a tourist-trap in Barcelona. A pity you were not aware you were in Catalonia rather than in Spain. For the rest, a nice page.
