Name of Shop: Shops near Spanish Steps
Many of the major designers have shops near the Spanish Steps. Walking through those streets was like paging through Vogue.
What To Buy: You can buy very expensive clothes and bags here at these designer shops. For those of you who have to have your custom made shirts, this is the place to come. Or you could go over to Ponte S. Angelo (the bridge by the Castel S Angelo) and buy a knock-off for 1/20th of the price. (The shirt probably won't fit.)
What To Pay: Depends if you have to have the real thing.

Nemorino Thu Apr 5, 2007 22:00 UTC Great advice, but . . . if there's one thing I'm not, it's an early riser! So either I'll have to turn my life on its head or find some other way to see all these great things in your tips. | Pawtuxet Wed Feb 28, 2007 15:11 UTC You've done an excellent job on your Rome page! Thank you for helping me remember so many wonderful things. Love your cover photo. | Maurizioago Mon Dec 25, 2006 20:51 UTC Nice page. Ciao! | melosh Thu Sep 7, 2006 23:38 UTC Outstanding first picture. Revisited your Rome page now with tips and many fine photos in place. It really was like a virtual revisit for me. I really liked your early morning pictures. bob |
