Kartal lake - Beyagac
Kartal lake

There were some vultures here in the past - this is how the lake gets its name. Nowadays some birds of pray could be seen as well, but not as many as before. Anyway, one week before our visit there was a traditional gathering... A charming place. Good for resting after the dusty walk through the Memorial forest and good start point for hiking to the nearest mountain peak.

The Memorial forest - Beyagac
The Memorial forest

Beautiful old pine forest with picturesque trees. It's a very dry place. Could be good walk or , unfortunately a car/bus tour... - there is a black road through the forest. Seems it's not popular and happily there are not many visitors here. Interesting plants and beautiful views. Unexplored - a local photographer, working as PR at Denizli municipality showed us around. Thank you Zeki!
