| | International MBA @ Peking University Well, here I am...and here I will stay from Aug 2003 to July 2004. Never in my life was I too inclined to come to China, but I am enjoying it so far. More than I am learning academically, I am getting down to exploring the city myself, navigating through the labyrinths of hutongs and artfully dodging the globs of spittle like a character in a computer game. Here I also bring you a rare glimpse of the Catholic faith in Beijing...Enjoy :) |

MeToTheWorld Sun Dec 19, 2004 14:09 UTC I can't believe it,there're so many catholic churches in beijing, I just know 4 of them, south, east, west, north church. GREAT WORK!btw can you tell how do get all this information? MERRY CHRISTMAS 2004! | urban4est Sat Nov 20, 2004 14:23 UTC I remember the no flush outhouses in rural America. These evolved into the portable potties at events and construction sites. Often there are stories of trying to use the over flowing pot & we sit on it. City people had chamber pots. | mke1963 Sat Nov 20, 2004 13:53 UTC Nice Beijing pages....and yes..those toilet scenes seem so familiar! - Mark | l_joo Wed Mar 31, 2004 07:19 UTC I RATE for those toilets. |
