Beautiful scenery all the way from Munich into Innsbruck! Spring green in the valleys with snow towards the peaks of the mountains.
We try and travel in the "shoulder" season. This is immediately before and after peak season. You take a chance on weather but it is generally less crowded and can be a lot cheaper. Actually we have had great luck with this method despite this light rain.
