Prague's an interesting place, entirely populated by German tourists and americans trying to be Bohemian or write their first novel. There are Czech people there but i think their hiding,. increasingly far from the city centre itself.

Prague is an exercise in how millions of tourists can squeeze the soul out of a place leaving nothing but sex shows ,tourist rip offs and copycat American bars. I mean why does everyone try to make everything look like a bloody steakhouse.

There's hope with the Roxy Club and Bar l'chateau which are agreeably seedy and a few dives and basement cafe's in Mala Strana ,but apart from that the town centres as sterile as Disneyland.
