Crossing the Border

Don't have a second thought, just cross the border if you want to visit Pakistan. There were only few foreigners visiting the rival country of India so the visa stamping/processing was very easy! Never take train from New Delhi going to Lahore 'coz you will lose your precious time! Visit first the Golden Temple in Amritsar and after spending free accommodation and free meal inside the Golden Temple, take bus from Amritsar Bus Terminal to Atari Bus Terminal. Then take a rickshaw for Rs 5 going to the Atari Border. You can even spend time to witness the Flag Loweing Ceremony of two countries.

(date crossed the border - Jan. 28, 2004)

I decided not to take train service anymore going back to Lahore, Pakistan due to the terrible situation I've experienced! Crossing the border of two nations was definitely the easiest one!

Euro Teens

I met Christian (Norway) , Morte (Denmark) and Minna (Finland) in Wagah Immigration Office. We spent more than 8 solid hours in Atari Station in midst of coldness night! They were really friendly Euro Teens! Hope to see these guys again!
