Haatyai A busy, noisy and polluted town where the food and shopping are abundant. Didn't really have much time to look around. Spending a night here before moving on to your next destination would definately be a good choice. |
Krabi Town A quiet seaside town. There are a few pubs and restaurants catering to tourists around. Watch out for travel agents who will try to cheat you by offering high prices for travel and accomodations. A good option when you arrive is to go to a local restaurant and have a chat with the locals and learn abit more about the place before you actually spend any money. |
Ao Nang Beach Beautiful but slightly over commercialized. Use it as a base to travel out to the other islands Phi Phi, Railay, Phang Nga, Koh Kai, Phuket. People are friendly, food is good and shopping is abundance. If you're planning a trip to Ao Nang, make sure you have at least 4 days to a week to fully enjoy the experience. |
