The Seal Beach Pier is a great way to spend an hour or two leisurely taking in the sites. Stroll down the pier with an ice cream in hand to watch the surfers on the south end or the pier. Ruby's Diner is at the end of the pier, and makes for a great lunch or dinner experience.

Walk around and check out the historic and lovely architecture in Seal Beach. Many lovely cottages and gardens make Seal Beach very quaint and charming.

Take a stroll on the beach, or relax for a few hours with a picnic lunch. Lovely views of the pier and ocean, plus Seal Beach is typically not touristy, so you'll have the beach to yourself. The farther you walk south of the peir the nicer it gets. Great in the summer at nightime.

The Bay Theatre on the corner of PCH and Main street is a really cool old movie theatre. Designed in 40s deco, this place is a throwback to another era. The theatre boasts a pipe organ that accompanies silent film screenings from time to time. The Bay always has something interesting playing, from a new foriegn film, to an old time classic like the Wizard of Oz or Lawrence of Arabia. Retro decor and old fashioned concession stand round out the experience.
