Manarola is more authentic than the rest of the Cinque Terra Villages. It's not so much the talian version of Disneyland, which is what I think Cinque Terra on the whole can feel like. I had a good experience in Cinque Terra, but part of that is because I met a nice Italian that spent the entire day with me. But overall, Cinque Terra is just too commercialized for my taste. Too many tourists and too many tourist traps. However the scenery is worth the visit.

Manarola definately was my favorite out of the Cinque Terra Villages. Tourists don't linger too long, they use the station to catch the train that takes you to the other villages.
