MALAUCINE - Small Village near Mt. Ventoux

by pigletsmom - last update: Oct 25, 2004

Friendly town with lots of Restaurants

The village
Malaucine is a lovely medieval village with loads of restaurants and a few shops. Locals are very friendly and the surrounding countryside is quite pretty. This is village filled with mountain bikers due to it's proximity to Mt. Ventou.
Colorful houses

Malaucine has typical pretty architecture

The streets have some nice old and colorful houses, typcial of the region.
Malaucine's lovely church

The local church is quite impressive

This church holds some lovely stained glass that should not be missed. I was very impressed with this small church, quite lovely and beautiful.
