Lovely food, lovely people! - Goa
Silver Sands: Lovely food, lovely people! OTHER LOCAL Review

I go here every day I am in Goa. All the boys who work here are so friendly, the food is good and cheap.

As with most of the beach shacks, just pay for food and drink here and the sun lounges are free.

have also been here for evening meals, the fresh fish is superb and the service is second to none!

Favorite Dish: The boys who work here know I don't like to get my face in the sun...they move my umbrella around as the sun moves round throughout the day to make sure I am in the shade.

They will even sit and pour your drinks!

Now that is what I call service!

J & A's Italian: Try the Chocolate desert!!

J & A's is totally outside with ornate tables and chairs, candlelit and romantic or a perfect place for a family meal. The menu is extensive, as is the wine list (one of the only rarities in Goa) and the food is delicious.
The waiters are very hospitable and will cater to you requirements in any way they can.

Even the toilets have a guest book to add to the charm.

Last time I was in Goa we went there 5 times, and we were only there a fortnight!

Favorite Dish: Definately the Chicken in Pesto sauce followed by their totally to die for chocolate mousse/cake/yummy thingy

Address: By Baga River and the Royal Goan Beach club

Comparison: more expensive than average

Price: US$21-30

Rating: 5

Theme: Italian
