Mazatlan as a tourist destination I was pleasantly surprised by the charm of Mazatlan.. It has so much to offer.. the best part is the price.. for this Canadian Family girl, there is much to offer for only a few pesos. I really enjoy the people of Mazatlan. So many hardworking, friendly people!!!! The experience of Mazatlan will keep me coming back!!! |
details, details We went to Mazatlan in March 2003. My husband,myself ,and my brother and his wife. They had been to Mazatlan five times before and the four of us were in Acapulco in March 2001. My brother had always said how much they enjoyed Mazatlan and that we would like it too!! What an understatement!!!! We LOVED IT!!! The weather, the prices, and shopping were the icing on the cake.. I also liked to visit the downtown market and the cathederal. There is so much to see.. .. |

Another Trip to Mazatlan Coming soon We are returning to Mazatlan in March 2006!!!! About five weeks from the time I am writing this....We hope to visit the aquario Mazatlan and re-visit Stone Island.. What makes this trip so special is our exchange student from Germany will accompany us. Fantastic!!! He is with us for one year.. We will stay at the Las Flores Beach Resort again..We are looking forward to it.. There is a new pool since our last visit and a hottub...Nice..we have made friends with the staff and can't wait to see them again!!!! I will keep you posted when we return!!! I will have more tips and photos to add I am sure!!! Mazatlan 2006 came and went....Yes 2006 was fun!!!! Another trip is planned for December 2007.... Oh my has it really been .....Gasp!!.....over a year since I have been to my home away from home!!!!!How will I survive... Soon I will count the days!!lol More Pics will follow my return!! In January 2008we return for Christmas and New Years 2007-2008. Every time I go to Mazatlan it seems that I become more comfortable there. In 2008 we made it to Copala and Concordia Beautiful beyond belief!!!!!The staff at Las Flores and people of Mazatlan are unsurpassed!!!They are my Mexican Familia....I will return to Mazatlan as soon as I can in 2008 or early 2009!!!! ********UPDATE****************** ********************
I shall return to Mazatlan in January 2009. I am sure it will feel like home again..
Back from one week at Mazatlan..one week is not enough!!! Never again I have to go for a minimum of 2 weeks from now on!!! |

OH MY GOD! THIS PLACE IS GREAT. A LOCAL OF MAZATLAN TOOK US THERE FOR LUNCH. WE HAD CHILIQUILES THAT WERE CREAMY AND GOOD. THE 3 SHRIMP TACOS ARE JUICY, COME WITH SECERAL SAUCES, AND ARE HAVE THE SHELL IN A CONE SHAPE. GREAT PRESENTAION AND AWESOME TASTE | SunBum1999 Wed Jan 18, 2006 23:27 UTC
