SILENCE AND SOLITUDE

If you are looking for the softest beaches and the most aquamarine waters, Long Island, an out island of the Bahamas, may fit your needs. However, do not look for much else on the island. The restaurants are rudimenatary at best, and there is basically no night life. Be prepared to curl up with a good book and be one with your thoughts.
