Good pastries. Nice & clean ambience. There were musicians playing soft & easy music in the afternoon.

Restaurant Name: Food Court at MBK Shopping Centre
Lots of good local food here. Tom Yum soup, Durian Glutinous Rice, Green Papaya Salad, Mango Salad etc etc.... If the heat in Bangkok is a little too much for you, this food court may be good as it's air-conditioned though its noisy. You will need to purchase coupons in exchange for food, balance coupon can be refunded at the counter. Price here are inexpensive and food taste great as well.
Favorite Dish: Mango Salad....love it sweet, sour and spicy.

Restaurant Name: Bangkok Sky Restaurant
Honestly, the taste of the food there is very average. The restuarant was so packed when I was there & basically spent most of time waiting for food. The restuarant is located on the 76th & 78th floor of Thailand's tallest hotel, Baiyoke Sky Hotel. There is a observation & revolving decks which provide magnificent panoramic views over the Bangkok skyline. Service Hours 10.30 - 22.30 hrs. 77th & 84th floor
